Red Lodge

Trust Montana is working alongside some outstanding partners to bring more permanently affordable homes to Red Lodge in 2020. Currently, Helena Area Habitat for Humanity and the Red Lodge Area Community Foundation are working with partner families to build the first four Mutual Self Help homes in a twelve home project. The land under the homes will be placed in Trust Montana’s ownership to ensure:

1) the home owners are supported long-term and can can earn equity over time;

2) the resale prices of the homes will never be out of reach for Montanans; and,

3) the subsidy invested by our generous donors and partners will remain in the community for years to come, providing Montanans with homes they can afford.

If you or someone you know is looking for home ownership opportunity in the Red Lodge area, get in touch with Habitat for Humanity for an application. Most of the partner families are already chosen for the Spring 2020 build, but another round of applications will be accepted for the next Red Lodge build.
