Are you committed to ensuring working lands and homes are affordable for Montanans in perpetuity? We can accept your tax-deductible donations of land and housing around the state for the purpose of maintaining permanently affordable access to homeownership and farm ownership. The more land we own, the more opportunities we can provide to income-qualified homeowners, farmers and ranchers.

When a private entity or individual donates land, the IRS can consider the appraised value of the donation in order to give the donor a tax deduction. We can also receive land donations from other non-profits – many non-profits choose to donate land under affordable housing in order to transfer longterm stewardship responsibilities to Trust Montana.
